Sheila Dixit praises first ever Delhi International Film Festival

She might have skipped attending Delhi’s first film festival due to her illness but when the festival team met Delhi’s CM Smt.Sheila Dixit she not only felt proud but also delusional to see the trophy which was given during the festival. “It is my hard luck to not have attended this festival” said the honorable CM of Delhi to the festival team.
Ramkishore Parcha, President of DIFF presented the festivals’s catalogue, pictures and token to her. Also, on this special occasion she was gifted the dvd of the DIFF anthem song sung by Ravindar Singh and penned by Rani Malik.
“I am already excited for the sequel of this festival and will definitely listen to this song. My heartiest congratulations to the team for taking such an initiative and for doing a commendable job.”Said Smt.Sheila Dixit.
Sheila Dixit took out special time to spend with the DIFF team. The team who came to meet her included of Ramkishore Parcha(President,DIFF), Sushma(Organising institution ‘The Social Circle’),Guest Co-ordinator Naman Kishore, Promotion Coordinator Rajiv Sood and Bishan Chandra.
The 1st ever film fest in Delhi did its opening on 21st December and closing on 27th December at the Sirifort Auditorium but the screenings took place at NDMC Convention Center. The festival is like a gate pass to build Delhi a Film city which will give everybody a platform to shoot movies in the capital.
