Mere Dad Ki Maruti is a looking like a fresh film. The films will mark the debut of director Ashima Chibber and actors Saqib Saleem and Rhea Chakraborty.

The film has a fantastic music track. It has launched 2 songs till now i.e Punjabiyon Di Battery and Senti which have been topping all music charts.

The production house is now gearing up to launch the Panjabi MC’s song “Hayy”

The song will mark the debut of the band Panjabi MC in Bollywood, as this will be the first time they will be contributing a song for a film.

The film will also mark one more nouvelle aspect. For the first time a Bollywood song has been filmed at the Punjab University.

Director Ashima has a lot of relatives in Chandigarh and thus has literally grown up in the city. She was aware of the nuances of the city and well versed with the attributes and she wanted the same depicted in her film.

The Punjabi Mc song is infact the opening track in the movie and hence very crucial to set the tone of the film.

The YRF team is very happy with the way the song has turned out to be and is sure it will create a sensation among the audiences.

Says director Ashima, “Having spent a lot of time in Chandigarh, I love the energy and vibe of Panjab University and the gehri route. I was very keen to capture that flavor with the youth of that city who have their own unique style and attitude that forms the backdrop to our film."

Pitbull reveals new single 'Welcome To Dade County'

The music follows the recent online sensation Harlem Shake and is a retaliation record for people who insulted Miami.

February, 2013: Pitbull has come up defending his hometown Miami, with a new single ‘Welcome To Dade County’. The song describes how the self-proclaimed Mr. 305 is proud of his home city and will always voice against people who say negative about the city. The single is sung with the recent online hit Harlem Shake as the background score. His last album ‘Global Warming’ received positive reviews & was released just a few months back.

The song has lyrics which are blunt and are in connotation to the remarks made by a rapper-singer in the past. The lyrics are “You got money, yeah – yeah, that’s sweet. But we are no slimmin’, baby, really eat. You talk Miami, if you talkin’ heat. Moral of the story: don’t shit where you eat”

Pitbull said “Miami is very close to my heart, hence there is a mention of it in many of my songs. It has given me everything that I have currently and always welcomes everyone with open arms. Recently a lot of things were said that I felt were against the spirit of the city so the song is for all those people.”

प्रियंका पहली बार करेंगी आईटम गीत

 

प्रियंका चोपड़ा शूटआउट एट वडाला में आईटम गीत करते हुए नज़र आएँगी। हालाकि प्रियंका को फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में कई साल हो गए लेकिन ये पहली बार होगा कि वो एक आईटम नंबर पर थिरकने जा रही हैं। गाने के बोल हैं- बबली बदमाश। आईटम गीत आजकल का नया ट्रेंड है जिसे सभी बहतरीन अभिनेत्रियाँ कर रही हैं। और अब इस सूची में प्रियंका का भी नाम शामिल हो गया है।

संजय गुप्ता जल्द ही अपनी निर्देशित फिल्म शूटआउट एट वडाला के साथ आ रहे हैं। ये एक ज़बरदस्त ऐक्शन फिल्म है होने वाली है। संजय गुप्ता ने प्रियंका के आईटम गीत के बारे में बताया "I chased Priyanka for 6 months before she agreed to do this song. It will be shot in next 3-4 days in Mumbai." संजय ने बताया। संजय शुरू से चाहते थे कि प्रियंका उनके फिल्म में एक आईटम नंबर करें। उन्होंने बल्कि प्रियंका को दो गानों के विकल्प दिए थे। प्रियंका ने दोनों गीत को सुना और फिर बबली बदमाश को चुनाव किया। संजय को विश्वास था कि वो किसी भी गीत के साथ पूरी तरह से न्याय कर पाएंगी।

इस गीत को संगीत दिया है अनु मालिक ने जिसमें उन्होंने 70 दशक के क्लब संगीत का स्पर्श दिया है। संजय इस गाने को अपने दो सबसे पसंदीदा लोगों के नाम करना चाहते हैं। उन्होंने कहा "Feroze Khan and RD Burman are two people I wanted to work with in my career and this song is an ode to them. Probably if they worked together the result would have been this song."

संजय से जब पुच गया कि उनकी पसंद प्रियंका ही क्यूँ थी तो उन्होंने कहा कि "If there was someone who I thought could recreate the magic of Zeenat Aman or Parveen Babi, then it could only have been Priyanka." उन्होंने बताया कि प्रियंका को इस गाने के लिए मनाना इतना आसान नहीं था। "It has taken a lot of time for her to agree to it. I even showed her some parts of the film. She has agreed to do the song with the caveat that the lyrics won't be objectionable or have double meaning. I told her that she doesn't need to worry about it."

मीका और हनी सिंह के गाने को मिला 1.5 करोड़ का प्रस्ताव

यशराज फिल्म्स को पिछले हफ्ते एक बेहद आश्चर्य कर देने वाली याचिका आई। ये मांग पंजाब के एक टेलीकोम कंपनी से उन्हें आई थी। असल में उनकी आने वाली फिल्म मेरे डैड की मारूती का एक गाना है- पंजबियाँ दी बैटरी चार्ज रहेंदी है। ये गाना उस कंपनी को इतना पसंद आया की उन्होंने इसके कॉपीराईट्स खरीदने की मांग की है।

चौंकाने वाली बात ये है कि उन्होंने इस गीत को खरीदने के लिए 1.5 करोड़ का प्रस्ताव दिया है। जो कि काफी बड़ी रकम है। ये एक ज़बरदस्त गाना है और वो चाहते हैं कि अपने फोन के प्रचार के लिए इस गाने को बतौर जिंगल इस्तेमाल करें। और ये कंपनी सिर्फ पंजाब में इस गीत के साथ प्रचार करना चाहती है।

यशराज के करीबी सूत्र का कहना है "They are investing so much only to make a jingle using that song, that too, only for their market in Punjab. It's a huge deal to put in so much money just for one region."

इस गाने को पंजाब में बेहद प्रसिद्धि मिल रही है वो भी मीका सिंह और हनी सिंह के बदौलत। पंजाब में दोनों ही कलाकार बेहद लोकप्रिय हैं।

कल्कि पहली बार परदे पर गायेंगी

कल्कि ने कहा “I spent a long time working on the track because I also play the guitar in it. I learnt the chords and then lip-synced for the vocals. It was great fun especially because I was doing in front of the master of lip-syncing - Emraan Hashmi!" She adds, “I play the guitar in real life so it was fun for me to bring out my musical side to the song.I learnt the chords and played them while singing. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!"

DIRECTOR DARREN CRAIG ON KE$HA’S NEW VIDEOC’MON

Unsurprisingly, the music video for Ke$ha's new song "C'mon" touches on familiar territory for dedicated Ke$ha enthusiasts. The story line in the new clip, which dropped Friday (January 11), is all about having fun, being the life of a party and inviting a few of your furry friends along for the ride.

MTV News caught up with director Darren Craig to get the inside scoop on how the vision for "C'mon" came together, explaining that the goal of the video wasn't so much to create a logical story line as it was to throw a fun party.

"There's not a huge narrative story. It's about having fun, right? That's a lot of what Ke$ha is about, is fun, being uninhibited," said Craig, who also directed her "Die Young" video. "I think that's what a lot of her fans respect about her, is she gets to be the kind of Tyler Durden from 'Fight Club' [and live] the life that a lot of younger girls might really want to live."

Although the majority of the action in "C'mon" involves fun and games, there is an introductory section in the clip that sheds some real light on the singer's blue-collar roots.

"She is from Nashville and she grew up working her ass off and really had to work hard to get where she is," Craig said. "So we wanted to show this idea of this small-Southern-town girl working in this Southern diner who was just really unhappy and how we could blast out of that lifestyle and into this other alternate dimension and really move more into Planet Ke$ha."

A planet all her own sounds about right for the "Blow" singer, but what happens when you take a trip there?

"Planet Ke$ha, what we've illustrated here, is about fun and about just random craziness," Craig said. "It was really fun. She's obviously a huge animal lover, and ... everything I've done with her, we try to include animals in some way. She calls her fans her Animals, so it's her partying with animals and weird furry ones. It was just really fun."

Madhushree records for the Innocent Heroes...

Bollywood playback singing sensation Madhushree Bhattacharya records song "Yeh Nadiyan, Yeh Taare, Tere Liye Hain..." for the album titled Innocent Heroes dedicated to underprivileged kids. She recorded the song in Sudesh Bhosle's Shruti Recording Studio in Goregaon (W) and Sudesh ji dropped by to say hello. They chatted for a while about music post which Madhushree continued her recording. Also present at the venue were the music composer Uday Ramdas, the producer of the album Sheetal Kharka of IHF and Madhushree's husband Robby Badal.

The album Innocent Heroes is a project undertaken by The Innocent Heroes Foundation (IHF) which is a non-profit organization that seeks to address the basic needs of underprivileged children and provide them with an opportunity to explore their hidden talents and give these innocent heroes wings to fly to a better tomorrow.
