पिछले दिनों, निर्माता निर्देशक धीरज कुमार ने सोनी पल पर प्रसारित हो रहे अपने धार्मिक ,ऐतिहासिक और फंतासी धारावाहिक सिंघासन बत्तीसी के सेट पर एक पार्टी रखी. सेट पर एक बड़ा केक काटा गया, जिस पर चैनल और सीरियल का नाम लिखा था। केक को तलवार से काटा गया । ऐसा करने के बारे में धीरज कुमार से पूछा गया तो उनका जवाब था, "ताकि हमारे शो को किसी की बुरी नज़र न लगे ।"

While other children were out playing soccer, nine-year-old Donald was busy catching and handling the deadliest snakes on the planet. Donald Schultz is willing to do a job no one else dares. With support from the world’s top veterinarians and animal researchers, he travels to remote and jeopardous locales to collect venom and rare DNA critical to cataloguing species and research that will one day save countless lives.

Whether harvesting venom from deadly black mambas in Mozambique, collecting lethal jellyfish tentacles off the remote coasts of Australia, chasing and relocating charging elephants in Sri Lanka, or bringing down a 600-pound wild African lion to get a blood sample in South Africa, Donald is fearless in the worldwide pursuit of bio-specimens for research and potential new scientific discoveries that he hopes will save lives. As Donald himself says, “This is not a stunt; this is my job.”

“The work I do on Wild Recon is literally my life’s work,” adds Donald. “I’ve been going on these adventurous missions for years and now the series spotlights the jeopardy that I enjoy in collecting these samples on behalf of the research community. I’ve dedicated my entire life to working with animals.”

Born and raised in South Africa, Donald was the youngest person ever to give venomous snake demonstrations at the world-famous Fitzsimons Snake Park. But catching, caring for and studying snakes were not enough. Now, Donald travels the globe tracking down dangerous creatures, all in the name of science. He uses his animal acumen and taste for adrenaline for a greater cause, risking his own life for research that may one day save the lives of animals and humans.

Hiking through thick jungle undergrowth, diving to depths of hundreds of feet to sample shark species or skydiving into hard-to-get-to habitats, Donald stops at nothing to complete his mission. In addition, his missions are a race against the clock as he must get his fragile samples out of the field and into the lab for the next stage of work to commence. With Donald's help, researchers will hopefully unlock the mysteries of animal DNA, identify the blueprint for undiscovered anti-venom or even one day find a cure for a life-threatening disease.

Donald works closely with researchers at zoos, universities, laboratories, pharmaceutical companies and especially local governments and communities to assess their needs and identify what research could be critical to their ongoing studies.

Alien Invasion

Animal adventurer Donald goes Down Under to Australia, home to some of the most venomous creatures on the planet. His mission is to find animals threatened with extinction by an unassuming toxic invader: the Cane Toad. He starts in the rugged bush, and when he finds his reptile targets, he takes venom and DNA samples from each one, in hopes of preserving these magnificent animals for future generations. Donald then journeys to Southern Australia, where he tackles a thrashing emu that weighs as much as he does. His challenge is to avoid the flightless bird’s razor-sharp talons long enough to get a blood sample for researchers. Finally, when night falls, he heads into the deadly waters off Queensland for his most dangerous mission of all: to grab rare, venomous sea snakes from a moving boat… by hand.

Rampage
Donald literally descends upon the Southeast Asian country of Sri Lanka in the aftermath of a brutal civil war – he becomes the only civilian to skydive into the nation in two decades. Production of antivenin has taken a back seat in this war-torn country, and, as a result, more than 1,200 of its people are dying each year from snakebites. Donald’s mission is a dangerous but lifesaving one: capture three of Sri Lanka’s deadliest snakes – the Spectacled Cobra, the Krait and the Russell’s Viper – and milk their venom so researchers can create antivenin. Donald then treks into the lowland forest in search of one of his favourite animals – the Slender Loris, a tiny primate with a bizarre toxic defense. Before his Sri Lanka mission is complete, Donald joins forces with dozens of men to find and relocate a rampaging rogue elephant that is terrorising local villagers.
Bounty Hunter
On this mission, animal adventurer Donald travels to the exotic nation of Belize, nestled between Mexico and Guatemala on the Caribbean coast of Central America. He sets out on a dramatic search for deadly animals that are the targets of poachers, like crocodiles, sharks and rays. His goal is to collect blood and tissue samples needed for research before these endangered animals disappear. He heads into the dense rain forest canopy to track down the loudest animal in the world – the Howler Monkey – a critically endangered primate that is falling prey to poachers. While there, Donald stumbles on his least favourite creature – a Tarantula spider that is nearly as big as his hand. In an unusual “milking” procedure, Donald anesthetizes the spider, then uses a tiny electric shock to draw its rare and understudied venom.
Border War
Animal adventurer Donald returns to his home country of South Africa for a new mission and to take stock on what his country has done to pave the way for aggressive conservation efforts. There, he is tasked with tracking down and extracting blood samples from a regal cheetah and two massive rhinos, and hand-capturing the fastest-striking snake in Africa, the Gaboon Viper. TMKOC at number ONE Position across Channels & Shows

Asit Kumarr Modi produced comic serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has emerged at number one position with 4.4 TRP along with Balika Vadhu and Diya Aur Baati Hum.

Since the TRP opened again after months long hiatus, TMKOC has been steadily climbing in viewer’s rating points week after week. Current track where Jethalal is suddenly faced with allegations of another wife Gulabo is the first ever track that has gone on for more then week - ten days duration. Normally each story lasts for a week or maximum of ten days. “This track has been going on for more then 40 – 45 days, which is very unusual for us. But the storyline was such that it needed extra attention and dedicated episodes. It is the first time that we have shown a court scene in the show. It’s been a successful decision,” says Asit Modi.

“We are indeed very happy. A show that is socially relevant family entertainer is watched by entire families. And believe me, it is an extremely tough job to maintain the constant interest of the viewers in comedy. We are all the time on our toes but we enjoy every moment of it. And inspite of completing 1000 plus episodes, we still have so many new ideas and stories to explore,” he adds.

KBC 2012 Jackpot winner

 
History was created yet again on Indian television’s most iconic game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 2012 as the show got its first jackpot winner of this season. The moment was resonant when Sunmeet Kumar Sawhney, a mere 12^th pass housewife took the honors of being the first woman ever to lift the jack pot; Panch Koti Gyaan Kumbh amounting to Rupees 5 crores on this widely held game show.

The success of Sunmeet Kaur Sawhney is an emphatic endorsement of the fact that the show is not just a game show, but a melting pot of knowledge and aspirations of the nation thereby proving “Sirf Gyan Hi Apko Apka Haq Dilata Hai”. Leading the way, Kaun Banega Crorepati over the years has broken all barriers of demography and geography and transformed lives of people all across the country. For the housewife as well as tuition teacher Sunmeet Kaur Sawhney, knowledge was the key to success and it was rightly proven in her case. A housewife and mother of two, Sawhney gives tuitions to young children in her vicinity to add to the family income. After marriage I got caught up in household chores and responsibilities. It was when I underwent a surgery that I took a decision of taking tuitions at home. I truly believe that knowledge is the key to success. It is not about how qualified one is, even by keeping yourself updated with current affairs one can become knowledgeable," she said. Though she could not get the opportunity to study more, Sawhney says she will ensure that her two daughters get the best possible education.

And talking about the very own legend and show host Amitabh Bachchan, Sunmeet adds “Bachchan sir has been very lucky for me. I want to set an example to all housewives that they can also win,” Mr. Bachchan too shared his excitement on Sunmeet’s winning and congratulated her. Abhi Na Jao Chhod kar

Abhi na jao chhod kar is the story of Mayra and Aditya, whose love surpasses the borders of caste and religion.

Mayra belongs to an orthodox Muslim family; and her father is a person who will never agree to have a Hindu boy as his son-in-law. Aditya’s father too, is a person, who will never accept a Muslim daughter-in-law. However, both the families are aware about the relationship, and do their best to hide it from their respective patriarchs. They fear that Mayra and Aditya’s love could stir up a storm in both the households.

On one hand, Mayra is a playful, affable, yet stubborn girl; and on the other hand, Aditya is an incredibly mature person.

In due course of the story, Aditya dies in an accident. The loss of her lover utterly devastates Mayra.

During an exhibition of paintings made by Aditya; Mayra meets Rehan, and gets close to him. She begins to see glimpses of Aditya in Rehan. Rehan too begins to develop feelings for Mayra, and in the process ends up sideling Rukhsar, the girl who loves him.

Enter Niyaaz, the son of a politician; who ends up buying each one of Aditya’s paintings from Mayra. He later asks for Mayra’s hand in marriage, a proposal, her family readily agrees to. Mayra on the other hand is never able to admit her feelings for Rehan. Perhaps, she doesn’t want to do anything about it.

A helpless Rehan can do little as Mayra goes away to settle down with Niyaz. Niyaz is a well-mannered person; he tends to get aggressive at times; partly due to the fact that he lost his mother at a very young age. Although he tries his best to win Mayra’s affections, his well meaning actions always tend to backfire. And Mayra, is never really able to accept him.

In the meanwhile, Rehan goes over to Aditya’s house and meets his parents and sister. As Mayra is close to Aditya’s family, Rehan too accepts them as his own. The shock of Aditya’s untimely death has devastated his family. The family’s construction business too has been running in a loss. Upon meeting Rehan, the family begins a renewed effort to get everything back on track.

Rehan’s hard work soon helps them bag a prestigious tender. He personally visits the construction site in order to convince the residents to move out in exchange for new homes in their new building. The residents however, refuse to believe Rehan and approach Niyaz for support.

Niyaz is a person who does not tolerate injustice in any form; he gathers the residents and begins a movement against the builder.

Rehan’s dream of rehabilitating Aditya’s family to its former glory begins to crumble. He is unable to take action against Niyaz as he is Mayra’s husband. When Mayra comes to know about everything, she gets worried.

In due course of the story, Mayra begins to accept Niyaz, and Ruksar comes back into Rehan’s life.

Ashish Kapoor - Born on 17^th October 1984 in Delhi. An interior designer student but got into acting coincidently. Appeared in shows like “Shhh..koi hain”, “Emotional Atyachaar”, “Bandini” and “Ye Rishta kya khelata hain”. But his claim to fame was “Dekha Ek Khwab” on Sony TV and currently “Love Marriage Yaa Arrange Marriage” on Sony TV itself.

Gajendra Chauhan - As the name sounds so power pack and electrifying ,it would not be wrong calling him a “master of disguise” to play infinite number of roles with distinct looks whenever appeared on television or on 70 mm screen. Gajendra Chauhan better known as Yudhisthira whose appeared in over 600 serials across all channels on television and did films with ace filmmakers and sharing screen space with ace actors of the nation. A Delhi raised kid who completed his school and graduation in Delhi itself. Did a diploma in radiography but dint seem happy as he wanted to pursue acting, which brought him to the hustle bustle streets of Mumbai.
Papiya Sengupta - Popular face of Indian television worked in infinite number of serials to name a few “O'Maria”, “Rahaat”, “Umeed”, “Shatranj”,” Basera”, “Kuch is tarah”, “Kya dil mein hai”, “Gumraah - End of innocence “ . She was recently seen in “Kitani Mohabbat hain” on NDTV Imagine, “Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna” on Star Plus and “Pyaar ki ek Kahaani” on Star One.
Sanjay Batra - An unforgettable face of Indian Television Sanjay Batra has appeared in infinite number of television shows. Working for nearly two decades as actor, he has proven himself as one of the most versatile actors across the nation. Roopesh R Sikand (Writer/Director), has been constantly working in the direction of creating benchmarks in the Film Fraternity across the Nation through his excellent skills & innovative ideas which he has developed so far in the field of Film and Video Direction.

Currently working towards my two untilted film projects with ace known faces. On receiving positive response from the entire film fraternity, I am charged to invest more time and effort before I unveil it to the audience.

Born and bought up in Delhi (India), he has achieved various milestones of his career through constant dedication and hard work and the in-born spirit which drives him through his ups and downs of the almighty’s sea shaped path of life. For the last several years, he has been operating in Mumbai & Delhi.

He has enjoyed every single moment of his professional voyage by cruising through the highway of success as it is the most rewarding and satisfying feeling one can experience after giving one’s best shot to whatever comes one’s way.

Through his films, he wants his audience to realize and sense the various dimensions of his society. He wants them to see the beautiful, as well as not so beautiful facets of life. He personally feels that cinema is one of the strongest mediums which offer its audience, a glimpse of this versatile world through the ingenious vision of a Director.

Film as a career

 It was none other than him, who was adamant to pursue Films as a Career. He started working in this field ever since hewas 19 and by the time he reached the age of 22, he was already blessed with 3 honors. This gave him an insight and also boosted his confidence to move ahead in the profession of “my choice”. He started dreaming to become the most successful Director right from that tender age.

Background

He graduated from Delhi University and hails from a well cultured family. His upbringing has completely been under the guidance of his father with whom, he could never ever imagine breaching the guidelines of discipline.

Global Exposures

He is a travel freak and in this context he feels privileged to state that he has travelled to most of the exotic destinations across the globe which in turn can also be good locations for his shoots (especially the European ones). People want to see the most explored and most talked about destinations but on the contrary, he wishes to visit a place which is least explored. A virgin destination is even better. He wants to travel to global destinations just for the sake of Location Hunting which also opens a wide frame of his thought process.
