Ramu enters Berlin

Ram Gopal Varma’s most emotional film till date The Attacks of 26/11 will be screened at the berlinale international film festival 2013.

Confirming the development, producer Parag Sanghavi says, "I am happy that I convinced Ramu to make this film in the first place and it is an honour for us to have our film at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival. It is a matter of prestige for us that we are both in the Panorama as well as the Competition section and to get invited itself is a very big thing.” The Attacks of 26/11 is produced by Alumbra Entertainment and Eros International and directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
The shooting of the film was completed recently and the film has gone into the post production stages to make it in time for the Berlin Festival. The film will release on March 1, 2013.

Not long ago the film received a fillip after the hanging of the 26/11 accused Ajmal Kasab after he was proven guilty. The climax of the film thus changed and enabled get the audience get their high and the Indian masses a shot of adrenaline.

The 1st Delhi International Film Festival Hosted Best Movies & Scored Huge Applause

After completion of 100 years of Delhi, as a city and Indian Film Industry, Delhi had organized a film festival which was not only much appreciated but invited the audience for the next year’s festival too.

The 1^st ever film fest in Delhi did its opening on 21^st December and closing on 27^thDecember at the Sirifort Auditorium but the screenings took place at NDMC Convention Center.

Total 174 films from 32 countries were played at the festival. The festival was one of its kind which included art,literature and poetry also.

Art works, Book launches, Kavi Sammelan and seminar were the main attractions with the huge participants and audience.

Zohra Sehgal was awarded for Minar-E-Dilli and cine star Sharmila Tagore was honoured with Life Time Achievement Award for her immense contribution in films. Israel Director Dan Wolman’s Film ‘Valley of Strength’ and Indian Director Nitin Kakkar’s Film ‘FILMISTAAN’ were awarded as Best Films.

Shoib Ilyasi’s Film ‘498-A Wedding Gift’ and Nitin Tiwari’s ‘Rajula’received the award for Best Audience Choice Awards.

Under NRI section, Sangeeta Nambiar’s film ‘The Gran Plan’ and under documentary section film Çinema for the People ‘won the best film awards. Under animation section, Suraj Bashisht from India got award for his film ‘Bravo’.Art section award went to Bharti Dixit for her paintings and to Harminder Singh for his unique sculptures.

Overall Delhi’s First film Festival ended on a good note. President Ramkishore Parcha was delighted to announce this festival every year in Delhi showcasing worldwide talents.

Naksh Layalpuri releases “UNMUKT” (collection of Hindi Poetry)

Famous Lyricist and Poet Shri Naksh Layalpuri released Poetry book “UNMUKT”(collection of Hindi Poetry) which is written by Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, at S.P.JIMR Auditorium, Bhavans Cultural Center, Bhavan College, Andheri west, on 25^th December 2012, wherein important personalities like Shri Vishwanath Sachdeva (Ex-editor of Navbharat Times, currently editor of literary magazine ‘Navnit’), well known poets like Devmani Pandey, Shekhar Astitva, Shivdutt Sharma, Khanna Muzafarpuri and many others were present along with lots of media people. This function was organized by Bhavans Cultural Center, Andheri & Asar Foundation.
After release function writer Santosh Kumar Jha narrated some of his favorite poems from “UNMUKT”, which was followed by musical programme in which some of poetries of UNMUKT like ‘Kisse Kahu Mai Vedna’ was composed and sung by Sanjay Pandit, ‘Aage Shubh Prabhat’ was composed and sung by Saroj Suman, ‘Agaz Ka Sun Kar’ was composed by Saroj Suman and sung by Vidya Karandikar. A Kavi Sammelan was also organized thereafter.

Passionately in love Mohit Chadhdha (Ayushman) and Mayera Sehgal (Sonam), strongly believe it is. But Mayera’s wilful bureaucrat father, V.K. Sehgal (Rishi Kapoor), vehemently disagrees.

Who gets the last laugh in this slice-of life Delhi-comedy when recession strikes and the lack of money tests love... credit-card-junkies private-sector Mohit-Mayera; or safe-playing sarkari, V.K. Sehgal?

This fun-filled satire has been written by the versatile writer/director Habib Faisal and Produced by Aditya Chopra, and will be directed by Nupur Asthana. This is her second film for the Studio, after her successful directorial debut last year with Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, under the Y Films banner.

The untitled film has Rishi Kapoor, Ayushman Khurana and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles. This is both Ayushman and Sonam’s first film with YRF.

The film is expected to go on floor in February and is slated for a 2013 release.

Rakhi gave her condolence to Damini & her family what she went through & prayed for her long life to Jesus. she also spoke about the women's safety to avoid & gave precautionery measures to be taken while travelling alone.

इस फिल्म की कहानी क्या है? कुछ अनुभव भी बताये शूटिंग के समय ?                                                                                                                          

कहानी है 5 दोस्तों की, जो की अपनी छुट्टियाँ मनाने जाते हैं पिथोरागढ़, इसी सफर में उनके साथ कुछ अजीबो - गरीब घटनाएँ घटती हैं समझ नही आता कि क्या हो रहा है ? इसी दौरान एक दोस्त भी हमसे जुदा हो जाता है जैसे- तैसे हम सब अपनी जान बचा कर वहां से भागते हैं. यह एक सुपर नैचुरल फिल्म है जिसे निर्देशित किया है हरीश शर्मा ने, जिन्होने पी आर की दुनिया में अपना मुकाम बनाया है यह उनकी पहली फिल्म है. मज़ा आया सभी के साथ काम करने में, एक अलग ही तरह का अनुभव हुआ काम करने में, सभी कलाकार पहली ही बार मिले थे लेकिन सब दोस्त बन गए आज भी हम सब आपस में मिलते हैं. चंडीगढ़ के पास मोरनी हिल्स में फिल्म की शूटिंग हुई है तो दर्शकों को हम डरायेगें भी लेकिन साथ में उन्हें खूबसूरत वादियाँ भी दिखायेगें.

पहली फिल्म है और वो भी हॉरर तो क्या कोई खास वजह रही इसकी? वजह यही है कि बहुत ही अच्छी कहानी है फिल्म की , जब आप देखेगे तो आप मेरी बात पर यकीन करेगें फिल्माया भी बहुत ही अच्छे से है, कोई भी फूहड़ सीन नही है न ही कुछ ऐसा है जिसे देख कर दर्शकों को बोरियत हो.

आपकी क्या भूमिका है ? मैंने हैरी की भूमिका की है मेरे इर्द गिर्द ही फिल्म की कहानी घूमती है.

इस तरह की फिल्मों में संगीत की एक अहम भूमिका होती है संगीत के बारे में बताइए? संगीत भी फिल्म की कहानी की मांग के मुताबिक है वर्षा नारायण ने संगीत दिया है व गीतों को भी उन्होंने ही गाया है इसके अलावा ब्रिटेन की रहने वाली मिली मूनस्टोन ने भी एक गाना गाया है इसके साथ ही मिली ने भी फिल्म में अहम भूमिका अभिनीत की है.

आपने छोटे परदे पर विलेन की भूमिका अभिनीत की जबकि इस फिल्म में आप हीरो बने हैं तो क्या फर्क लगा आपको ?

एक अभिनेता की नज़र से देखूं तो कुछ भी फर्क नही अभिनय तो दोनों ही जगह किया मैंने नायक बना या खलनायक लेकिन दर्शकों की नज़र से देखें तो बहुत फर्क है नायक बन कर उनका प्यार मिलेगा जबकि खलनायक तो गाली ही खाता है हमेशा. मैंने हेलो डॉली, सरकार, साथ फेरे, भाभी आदि धारावाहिकों में खलनायक बन कर दर्शकों का मनोरंजन किया और अब अपनी फिल्म "2 नाइट्स इन सोल वैली" से उनका मनोरंजन करूंगा.

कैसे मिली आपको यह फिल्म ? मुझे पता चला कि इस फिल्म के लिए ऑडिशन हो रहे हैं मैंने भी ऑडिशन दिया और मेरा चुनाव हो गया और आपको एक बात बताऊँ मेरा चुनाव शूटिंग पर जाने से बस 2 दिन पहले ही हुआ.

"2 नाइट्स इन सोल वैली” किस तरह की फिल्म है?

यह एक हॉरर फिल्म है लेकिन बहुत ही साफ़ सुथरी फिल्म है यानि न ही डरावने चेहरे और न ही भुतहा हवेली है इसमें , लेकिन इसके बावजूद शुरू से आखिर तक बांधे रखेगी दर्शकों यह फिल्म. हरीश शर्मा ने निर्देशित किया है इसे, कहानी भी उन्होंने ही लिखी है. मैं भी हॉरर फिल्मों को देखने की शौक़ीन हूँ अब तक देखी सभी फिल्मों से अलग है यह फिल्म.

फिल्म की शूटिंग कहाँ - कहाँ हुई है ? आपके अलावा अन्य कलाकार कौन है फिल्म में ? चंडीगढ़ के पंचकूला , मोरनी हिल्स और पिथोरागढ़ में शूटिंग हुई है फिल्म की. मेरे अलावा 'ऑफिस ऑफिस ' फेम हेमन्त पांडे , सुमीत शर्मा , मीनाक्षी आर्य , सुमित और गौरव शाह हैं.

आप तो मॉडलिंग करती है तो अभिनय करने में किसी तरह की कोई मुश्किल नही आयी ? नही बिल्कुल भी नही जैसे जैसे हरीश सर कहते गए मैं करती गयी और फिल्म शुरू होने से पहले हम लोगों ने वर्कशॉप भी की थी.

हेमन्त पांडे के साथ काम करना कैसा रहा ? बहुत ही अच्छा, पांडे जी सीनियर अभिनेता हैं इसके बावजूद सेट पर उन्होंने यह कभी महसूस नही होने दिया . हमेशा समझाते रहते थे कुछ गलत हो भी जाता तो नाराज़ नही होते थे.

निर्देशक हरीश शर्मा के बारे में बताइए , कैसा रहा उनके निर्देशन में काम करना ? बहुत ही कूल है हरीश सर अच्छा रहा साथ काम करना.

इस फिल्म दो हीरोइने और भी हैं तो किसी भी तरह की कोई ईगो प्रॉब्लम नही आयी ? नही बल्कि हम तो बहुत मस्ती करते थे ईगो जैसा कुछ भी नही था.

Big Star Entertainment Awards witness the center stage fight

The big star entertainment awards not only witnessed a flurry of A list actors but also saw some ego clashes. Maryam Zakaria, one of the leads of Grand Masti was all set to set the stage on fire along with Shakti Mohan and Mumaith Khan. But all dint seem to fall in place and the fight for the centre stage started where Maryam was placed. Source from the award function revealed that Maryam was finalized for the centre stage but seems like this dint go down well with the counterparts and unfortunately a replacement was made. Claudia and Scarlet were roped in last minute and they being thorough professionals carried the act to the tee along with Maryam.

Poonam's nasha for heights! on dooms day

Even as the Mayans have gone wrong with their prediction, Poonam Pandey went up 12000 feet in the air on 21/12/12 enjoying what life has given her, by shooting for her Amit Saxena helmed film Nasha.
The chulbul Poonam Pandey seems to have developed a nasha for heights as she took off in a helicopter to can one of the most intense scenes ever shot in A Bollywood film. In fact, never before has a passion sequence been shot at such altitudes. And going by the 21/12/12 phenomena, if he mercury in the city had risen and Mumbaikars began sweating during the day, you know who to blame.
The director Amit Saxena managed to shoot the intense sequence in just about 90 minutes.
"This was a scene that has never been attempted by any Bollywood movie before. The idea was to capture the intensity of Poonam over the blue seas and in mid air. The sangam of all the natural elements has made the scene an intense sequence. "
The sequence turned out to be a breeze for Poonam, as she coasted through the scenes without breaking a sweat.
"The sequence in a chopper was a challenge but I had full faith in my director and we went ahead with it, " said Poonam.
Looking at the way the sex scene has turned out, Poonam wants to name her director as Sex-ena!

Kamal Haasan Promoted his Film ‘Vishwaroop’ in Delhi

Kamal Haasan who is back on the silver screen with his action-packed film 'Vishwaroop' addressed the press at a press conference held at Delite Diamond theatre in the capital. The renowned superstar was accompanied by the cast and crew of the film which included of the lead actress Pooja Kumar, Jaideep Ahlawat and writer Atul Tiwari.

The south superstar who had earlier done mostly action films only was asked about his first romantic role in ‘Vishwaroop’. The film is made in a heavy budget of rs95 crores which makes its place among the highest budget films of all times.

“People plan to make sequel of a film after its release, It’s then that they decide if they want to make a sequel or not. But in our case we have already started our work on the sequel of ‘Vishwaroop’. Revealed Kamal Haasan.

Kamal Haasan’s ambitious‘Vishwaroop’ has seen many a turmoil during its making. The bilingual Indian spy thriller film was shot with the same cast in both languages simultaneously, which is in itself an incredible feat. Further, several crew members were brought on board straight from Hollywood.

Vishwaroopam is an upcoming Tamil-Hindi bilingual Indian spy thriller film written, directed and co-produced by Kamal Haasan that features himself in the lead role.The film also has Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat in supporting roles.

Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 to release 7th June 2013

After delivering a super-hit with Yamla Pagla Deewana in 2011, the Deols are now gearing up to win your hearts with the sequel to the film. Veteran actor Dharmendra and his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol will be next seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 and they wrapped up the London Schedule on 4^th December 2012. The remaining portions will be shot in banaras early next year. The Deols have decided to release the film on 7th June 2013.

Sunny Deol said, it’s the longest schedule shot overseas for any film. Shooting in Leicester and Birmingham was perfect. A big thanks to my cast and crew, it would have not been possible without their support. Also all I can say is, If you liked the original, you will enjoy this one. It is a great family film and a complete entertainer.

Rajeev Khandelwal was quite a nervous man when it came to shooting for his first on-screen smooch

Stealing your first kiss, be it in real life or on the reel, is never easy. Rajeev Khandelwal apparently had a really tough time shooting for his first- ever smooching sequence opposite Tena Desae in an upcoming film.

A source says, “The two were required to shoot for this sequence in the middle of the road in Fiji. Director Aditya Dutt wanted to set the scene amidst a regular surrounding, in order to capture their natural reaction.” Since the road was pretty crowded, Rajeev and Tena became very nervous, so much so that their anxiety was quite palpable.

However, the source adds that the kind of emotions their faces were emoting was exactly what the director needed for his film. “I wanted to shoot their kiss from several angles and both Rajeev and Tena had to repeat it again and again for the cameras,” says Dutt.
